Research academic, she is currently Coordinator of the Bachelor of Communication program. PhD in Media and Communication from the London School of Economics (LSE, London, United Kingdom), Master in International Relations from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs (Syracuse University, New York, United States), Degree in International Relations from the Colegio de México. He is a member of the National System of Researchers (Level 1). His lines of research cover communication theories, the relationship between political power and the media, government and political communication, as well as media literacy in Latin America. His most recent book Four Theories of the Press: 60 years and counting (2018), Routledge received recognition from the International Communications Association (ICA).
