María Stepanova (Moscow, 1972) is a writer and journalist, as well as editor of the cultural magazine Colta. The author of volumes of novels, poetry and essays, she has received numerous prestigious awards in Russia, including the Andréi Bieli Prize for poetry and the Great Book Prize for In Memory of Memory (Acantilado, 2022).
