Mariana Enriquez (Buenos Aires, 1973) is a journalist, writer, and teacher. She has written novels, travel stories, and short story collections, including Getting Off is the Worst (1994), How to Disappear Completely (2004), The Dangers of Smoking in Bed (2009), The Younger Sister. A portrait of Silvina Ocampo (2014), The things we lost in the fire (2016) and This is the sea (2017). Her books have been translated into multiple languages and have been published in more than twenty countries.
