Mark Danner (Utica, United States, 1958) is a writer, journalist and professor at the Universities of California (Berkeley) and Bard College. He has been writing regularly for more than three decades on issues of international politics and areas of conflict for prestigious outlets such as The New Yorker and The New York Review of Books. He is the author of several books on the violation of Human Rights in different areas of the planet, such as Central America, Haiti, the Balkans or Iraq. "Massacre: The Dirty War in El Salvador" is the first of them to be translated into Spanish.
