PhD in Latin American Studies from the University of Chile. Literature teacher, translator and editor. He has edited Formas de lo contemporáneo. Literature, Criticism and Culture in Brazil (2021), The ABC of Neoliberalism (2016) and co-edited The (Im)Possible University (2018). He has co-translated Figures of Violence. Essays on Narrative, Politics and Popular Music, by Idelber Avelar (2016) and A Literature in the Tropics, essays by Silviano Santiago (2012, 2018). For Ediciones mimesis he has translated and edited Genealogy of Ferocity. Essay on the Great Backcountry: Guimarães Rosa Villages, by Silviano Santiago (2018) and Cinematógrafo de letras. Literature, Technique and Modernization in Brazil, by Flora Süssekind (2021). In mimesis he has published Simplemente Clarice.
