Massimo Modonesi is a historian, sociologist and political scientist. He is an Ordinary Professor of the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). He is a member of the Steering Committee of the International Gramsci Society (IGS) and the Gramsci Mexico Association. He has published 18 books on Marxism and on the left and social and political movements in Mexico and Latin America.
