Mexican academic, researcher and translator. Bachelor and Doctor of Classical Letters from the National Autonomous University of Mexico unam. His lines of work cover Classical Antiquity, archaic Greek lyric and Greek tragedy. He works at the Universidad Iberoamericana uia and at the Colegio de Letras Clásicas of the Facultad de Filosofía y Letras ffyl (unam). Among the authors he has translated, Anacreon, Safo, Víctor Hugo, Jonathan Swift, Marcel Schwob and Hamed Esmaeilion stand out. He was editor in chief and director of Estudios magazine.
