Nerea Barjola Ramos (Santurtzi, 1980). She is a feminist militant, she has a doctorate in Feminism and gender from the UPV / EHU and a degree in Political Science and Administration. In addition to her feminist activism, she has focused her academic work on the reflection on the representations of sexual violence against women, through different articles and conferences, and has written her thesis on "The representations of sexual danger and their influence in the practices of women from the crime of Alcàsser 1992» on which this book is based.
Nerea Barjola has received recognition from the Government Delegation against Gender Violence on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women 2021 in the category 'Research for social transformation', especially for her work 'Sexist Microphysics power'.
