Nereida Carrillo holds a PhD in Communication and Journalism from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), a journalist, researcher and teacher. He has promoted Learn to Check, an educational and informative project that teaches how to verify and promotes the critical spirit to combat fake news. Learn to Check offers an open website and courses and workshops for all audiences to promote media education.
