Northrop Frye

Northrop Frye (Canada, 1912-1991) was a theoretician and literary critic of Canadian origin of great influence and originality. He studied philosophy and English literature at the University of Toronto and theology at Emmanuel College. Among his published work also highlights Anatomy of the Critique (1957), one of the most influential books of his time.
