Octavi Piulats received his doctorate in philosophy from the J.W. Goethe from Frankfurt. In the eighties he was one of the promoters of the Integral Ecological Magazine. Currently, he is a professor of philosophy at the University of Barcelona. Among his best-known works are Antigone and Plato in the young Hegel; Goethe and Montserrat, and Lessons on Hyperion by F. Hölderin.
