Oddny Eir. He was born in Iceland, in 1972, he studied Political Philosophy at the University of Iceland and at the Sorbonne. She has been working in the art world for years, as a university professor and gallicist. She has collaborated with Icelandic artist Björk as a lyricist on her albums Biophilia and Vulnicura. She is the author of four novels and several works of poetry and essay. Land of Love and Ruins, originally published in 2011, was a finalist for the Icelandic Literature Prize, and won the Icelandic Prize for Women's Literature and the European Union Prize for Literature, and has been translated into nine languages.
