Pablo Kohan graduated with a gold medal from the National Conservatory of Music, studied composition with Jacobo Ficher in Buenos Aires, and obtained his Master's in Musicology at Tel Aviv University. He is a tenured professor at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the University of Buenos Aires, evaluator and consultant of musicological magazines in the country and abroad and author of numerous articles on Argentine music published in musicology magazines and in international dictionaries and encyclopedias. Produces and hosts the radio program As the themes have passed since 1989 and has practiced music journalism and criticism in the newspaper La Nación since 1996. For his career he was awarded the Santa Clara de Asís Prize in 2014 and the Konex Platinum Communication Prize and Journalism in Classical Music in 2017. Since 2008 he is the director of Radio Nacional Clásica, from Argentina.
