Pedro Favaron (Lima 1979). Full-time professor in the Humanities Department of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. Although his academic research topics revolve mainly around oralituras, philosophical reflections, medicinal knowledge and other aspects of the indigenous peoples of the Amazon, and to a certain extent of the American continent, Dr. Favaron has been researching and reflecting on self-taught way about the new utopian narratives of the positivist and financial elites of our time, and the dangers that these projects bring to humanity, impoverishing our conception of life and freedom. It is a critical reading of cybernetic modernity and the transhumanist proposal from a point of view that is based on the spiritual knowledge of various initiation and philosophical traditions.
