The path of the heart offers the testimony of Pedro Favaron, poet, traditional doctor and community member of Santa Clara de Yarinacocha, in the Peruvian Amazon, who undertook a journey through North America in the company of some indigenous wise men who fight to heal humanity and keep alive their traditions despite the racial violence of Canada and the United States. The anecdotes, reflections and memories of this trip offer the outline of an alternative civilizational proposal, cruelly persecuted in recent centuries, but which keeps alive the promise of a different relationship with the Earth.
