Pelham Grenville Wodehouse

P.G. Wodehouse (1881-1975) was born in Surrey. After working for a time as a journalist in England, he moved to the United States. He wrote numerous plays and musicals, and more than ninety novels. Creator of unforgettable characters -Jeeves, Bertie Wooster, his aunt Agatha, Ukridge, Psmith, Lord Emsworth, the Lechuguinos of the Club of the Drones, and many others, his works are continuously reissued, as befits one of the great humorists of the century.
