
Philip Norman - (London, 1943) is a novelist, journalist and screenwriter. He started writing for the Sunday Times when he was twenty-two, earning a reputation for his profiles on personalities as diverse as Elizabeth Taylor, Little Richard or Gaddafi. In 1981 he published SHOUT !, a powerful biography of the Beatles that became a best seller both in the United Kingdom and the United States. He currently lives in London with his family.
