Pierre-Maurice Bogaert, Benedictine Abbey Maredsous, prof. em. At the Catholic University of Leuven (OT) was born in Brussels in 1934, studied theology and exegesis in Leuven, Strasbourg (State Doctorate), Jerusalem and Rome._x000D_
His research focuses on the transmission of the ancient Bible (Septuagint, especially Jeremiah, Latin Bible, French translations)._x000D_
Since 1964, he published the Bulletin of the Latin Bible in the Revue Benedictine (he has directed since 2000)._x000D_
He became interested in the text of the Bible Lobbes (1084) in several articles. He works at the New Cambridge History of the Bible. In 2005 he received the Burkitt medal of the British Academy.
