Graduated from the Faculty of Law of the UNAM, he is one of the most recognized specialists in copyright, film and entertainment law, not only in Mexico but in Latin America. Ramón Obón (1943) has advised and applied his legal knowledge in this area in the areas where he also works as a creator: literature, scriptwriting and film and television production. He has written about 140 stories, among which Todo por nada (Alberto Mariscal, 1968) stands out. Condominium concierge (Miguel M. Delgado, 1973), La viuda negra (Arturo Ripstien, 1977), La pachanga (José Estrada, 1981) and La última batalla (Juan Antonio de la Riva, 1993), as well as the telenovela Clásica 1993). In 2012 he wrote and directed his last film Morgana. In recent years the novel has been his greatest creative dedication, as evidenced by his tetralogy The Cursed Prince (2008, republished in 2010), Blood Lovers (2009). The Secret Brotherhood (2010) and Angel of Darkness (2013).
