Raúl Páramo-Ortega is a Mexican psychoanalyst born in Mexico City in 1935. He graduated as a doctor in 1959 from the University of Guadalajara. He has been accredited as a psychoanalyst and a regular member of the Viennese Circle of Depth Psychology since 1964. He co-founded the Mexican Psychoanalytic Circle in 1969 and the Sigmund Freud Study Group in Guadalajara in 1979.
