Ricardo Gibu Shimabukuro

Ricardo Gibu Shimabukuro. Graduate in Philosophy from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru and doctor in Philosophy from the Pontifical Università Lateranense (Rome, Italy). He works as a full-time professor-researcher and as coordinator of the degree in Philosophy at the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (Mexico). He belongs to the Academic Body "Phenomenology, Hermeneutics and Ontology", to the National System of Researchers of Mexico (level II) and to different scientific committees of philosophy journals. His line of research focuses mainly on contemporary philosophical anthropology within the phenomenological-hermeneutical framework. Currently, he is conducting research on language in Levinas' philosophical thought. He has been an author, translator and coordinator of books in this line of research, as well as a collaborator in different
collective magazines and books.
