Robert D. Kaplan - (New York, 1952) is editor of the prestigious Atlantic Monthly magazine and collaborator of The Washington Post, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal ... He is a specialist in the field analysis of the consequences of politics outside of the United States and, consequently, has written controversial essays on the nature of American power. He was appointed a senior fellow at the Center for a New American Security in Washington. He has been a correspondent in different countries during armed conflicts and a consultant for the Special Forces of the US Army.
