Robert M. Sonntag's real name is Martin Schäuble. He worked as a journalist before studying Political Science in Berlin, Israel, and the Palestinian Territories and earning a doctorate. As a non-fiction author, he focuses primarily on tensions in areas of political, cultural, and religious overlap. The experiences lived during his investigations in countries in conflict are also very present in his works of fiction.
