Roger Fry

Roger Eliot Fry (London, December 14, 1866-ibid., September 9, 1934) was a British artist and critic who was a member of the Bloomsbury group. As he matured as a critic he became a staunch defender of contemporary French painting, to which he gave the name Post-Impressionism.
