Rosi Braidotti

Born in Italy, she grew up in Australia, trained in France and lives in the Netherlands, where she is a professor in the Department of Women's Studies at the University of Utrecht. True to herself, she practices what she affirms and lives as a truly nomadic subject. Passionately devoted to philosophy as a critical discipline and based on feminist theory and practice, the author adds creativity and innovation to the risky task of understanding the complexities of today's world. Among his most recent books include Patterns of Dissonance, Subjects Nomads and Metamorphoses: Towards a Materialist Theory of Becoming.
