Rossana Reguillo

She is a doctorate in Social Sciences, specialized in Social Anthropology; professor – researcher of the Department of Sociocultural Studies of ITESO; National researcher SIN (National System of Researchers, level III), and member of the Mexican Academy of Sciences. She has taught as a visiting teacher at several universities in Latin America, Spain and the United States. He has been Tinker Visiting Professor at the Center for Latinamerican Studies (University of Stanford, 2001), professor of Communication (Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona and Universidad Javeriana de Bogotá, 2004), and Andrés Bello Chair in Latin American Culture and Civilization (University of New York, 2011). She is the author, among other books, of The Symbolic Construction of the City (1996), Fragmented Horizons. Communication, culture, post-politics (2005), and coordinator of Los Jóvenes en México (2010).
