Rudolf  Schnackenburg

Schnackenburg Rudolf, born in 1914, ordained in 1937, was one of the most important teachers of New Testament exegesis of 900. Lecturer at the University of Monaco, was appointed professor of New Testament exegesis at the University of Bamberg. Finally, from 1957 to 1982 he was professor at the University of_x000D_
Wurzburg. In the last years of his life he was chaplain of the Community of Sant'Egidio. And 'who died in 2002. His most famous work is the commentary in 4 volumes on the Gospel of John. Among his books translated into Italian: "The New Testament church: reality, theological interpretation, essence and mystery" (Morcelliana, 1966), "The Birth of Christ" (Queriniana, 1981).
