Steven Gorelick is executive director of programs at Local Futures (formerly the International Society for Ecology and Culture, ISEC) - an NGO that promotes alternatives to the global and consumerist economy. He is co-director of the award-winning documentary film The Economics of Hapiness (ISEC, 2011) and co-author of Bringing the Food EconomyHome: Local Alternatives to Global Agribusiness (Kumarian Press, 2002). He has taught economics at Sterling College in Vermont, and writes and lectures on local economic issues in the United States.
