Tommaso Landolfi

Tommaso Landolfi

Tommaso Landolfi (1908-1979) cultivated and maintained a life of solitary eccentric, to the extent of forbidding his Italian publishers to publish any biographical data of his in his books. All we know of him comes from his Inventions (Siruela, 1991), prologadas and selected by Italo Calvino. Landolfi wrote novels - The Moonstone and Autumn Stories (Siruela, 1992) - and twelve volumes of stories, among them Racconti (1960) and Racconti impossibili (1966).
