Tullio Pericoli, painter and designer, was born in Colli del Tronto in 1936 and based in Milan since 1961. He has exhibited in numerous galleries and museums both Italian and foreign, and his drawings have appeared in major newspapers and magazines. His books include Woody, Freud und andere (1988), Attraverso il disegno (1991), Die Tafel des Königs (1993) and Terre (2000). He recently worked as a set designer for the Opernhaus Zurich, the Studio Theatre and the Teatro alla Scala in Milan.
