Vanni Pettinà has a degree in Political Science from the University of Florence and a doctorate in Contemporary History from the Complutense University of Madrid-Ortega y Gasset University Research Institute. He has been hired as a predoctoral fellow at the Institute of History of the CCHS of the CSIC and a postdoctoral fellow at the John W. Kluge Center of the Library of Congress and the Spanish Agency for Cooperation and Development. He has taught at the London School of Economics and Political Science, the Ortega y Gasset University Research Institute, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and UNAM. He is currently Professor-Researcher with the Center for Historical Studies of El Colegio de México.
