Víctor Del Río is a researcher and essayist, author among other works of the books: The Orphan Piece (Consonni, 2015); The hidden complaint. Jeff Wall and the critique of the neo-avant-garde (El Desvelo, 2012); Factography Vanguard and mass communication (Abada, 2010) or Photography object. The overcoming of the aesthetics of the document (Ediciones Universidad de Salamanca, 2008). Regular contributor to specialized media in art and visual culture, he has directed various projects for museum institutions and art centers as a manager and curator. He has been chief curator of the Patio Herreriano Museum in Valladolid and is a professor of Art Theory at the University of Salamanca, as well as the Master's Degree in Photography, Art and Technology of the Universitat Politècnica de València.
