Virginia Trueba Mira is a tenured professor of Spanish Philology at the University of Barcelona. Specialist in modern and contemporary Spanish literature, she has dedicated her research, among others, to the study of the representation of women in the literary sphere and to literature written by women throughout the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries. She is the author of the edition of Ángel Vázquez's novel La vida perra by Juanita Narboni and of various writings on Rosa Gálvez, Emilia Pardo Bazán, Ana María Moix, Dulce Chacón, Núria Amat, etc.
