Yves Charles Zarka is a philosopher, professor at the Sorbonne, University Paris-Descartes, chair of political philosophy._x000D_
It has long been a research director at CNRS, where he directed the Center for History of Modern Philosophy and the Center-Thomas Hobbes. He is founder and editor of the journal Cities. He currently leads the Centre PHILéPOL (philosophy, epistemology and political) from the University Paris-Descartes (Gepecs component) in which organized research on the concept of "emerging world".
