We are a Mexican publisher and we make books that we would like to read. We believe that, at best, reading involves all the senses and combines stimulating content with an aesthetic and visual experience. In Antelope there is room for new, old, risky, translated and rescued voices. We are, in Salinger's words, lovers of the improbable, protectors of the infertile, defenders of the hopelessly flamboyant.
Editing is a creative task that sprouts in community. If writing occurs alone, publishing is the act of companionship that opposes isolation, a place where it is possible to develop friendships while working a book with several hands. By work, we refer to an underdeveloped aspect in the publishing tradition of our country: the active participation of all those involved in the creation of a book.
