Hello! We'd like to tell you that Arkhé Libros is our bookstore specializing in philosophy, social sciences, and Afro-descendant narratives, as well as genres and sexual diversity. It emerged in March 2021 as an online bookstore, stemming from some of our "pandemic" reflections and our desire to create something together! Our name, Arkhé, is a word that comes from Greek and means "beginning," "origin," "principle." Our origins lie in the province of Mendoza, where we both hail from. And our logo epitomizes both origins: the mountains and the open book!
We both love books and reading, and we think of the bookstore as a space that goes beyond a commercial interaction: as a bridge that unites those who write and those who read, to generate collective critical thinking.
