Ediciones El Viso was founded in 1981 with the intention of producing high-quality art books for museums and cultural institutions around the world. Since then it has published more than 1,500 titles including exhibition catalogues, guides, catalogues raisonnés of artists, museums and art collections, books on photography, architecture, interior design, landscaping, design and business.

Approximately half of the editorial production is destined for export and corresponds to publications made for first-rate institutions, such as The Metropolitan Museum of Art, in New York, or The Dallas Museum of Art, among others.
