It is not simply a matter of “eating the other” (as modernist cannibals proposed), since this is linked to the enjoyment of appropriation to increase our social and narcissistic power, the basis
of the unconscious colonial-patriarchal-racial-capitalist regime (…) In this sense, instead of eating the other, it would be more appropriate to say that it is about allowing ourselves to be fertilized by the other and, based on its
dissonant effects on our constitution, sustain a process of transformation that gives body to this dissonance, that increases our power to participate in the collective work of regenerating the environmental, social and mental ecosystem.
