One of the most enigmatic in the life of Friedrich Nietzsche is its relationship with Cosima Wagner episodes. Nietzsche never denied the atmosphere of friendship that in his youth he joined Cosima: "For nothing in the world I wanted out of my life Tribschen days, days of confidence, serenity, sublime hazards - deep moments." The composer was decisive influence on Nietzsche's ideas about the tragic art, music and pessimism of the Greeks. Thanks to Wagner, Nietzsche got pierce the veil of Maya cold philology, and the Master came to embody for him his intuitions about the Greek world and the future of German culture.
