Almost a century has passed since Antonio Gramsci wrote that "the crisis consists precisely in the fact that the old dies and the new cannot be born: in this interregnum the most varied morbid phenomena occur." Today, faced with an endless number of morbid phenomena, in a context of polycrises and geopolitical realignments, we find ourselves deeply disoriented: erratic in the analysis of the old and incapable of participating in the emergence of the new.
