Early Childhood Education in Mexico: History, Public Policies, Modalities, and Teacher Training comprises eight chapters that address topics related to early childhood. This work explores themes related to the training and teaching practice of early childhood educators, defined as those professionals who work with students in early childhood education. Twenty-four academics from five Mexican higher education institutions contributed to the text: the Benemérito Instituto Normal del Estado Gral. Juan Crisóstomo Bonilla, the Escuela Normal Superior Federalizada del Estado de Puebla, the Benemérita y Centenaria Escuela Normal del Estado de Durango, the Instituto Jaime Torres Bodet, and the Escuela Normal de Educación Preescolar Profesora Nelly Rosa Montes de Oca y Sabido.
