The excellence of Ford Madox Ford's writing and the skillful use of the unreliable narrator make this book a masterpiece that deserves to be read and enjoyed with all honors, a text that has exerted a notable influence on later writers of great talent, Like Graham Greene, and that many compare, with an intuition that seems to us the most correct, with The Great Gatsby.
