In the Temple of Quetzalcoatl, a large number of skeletons and offerings were found, their arrangement linked to the pre-Hispanic cosmogonic context. The studies, predominantly archaeological, are expanded in this book with biological sources useful for understanding the symbolic representation of different social groups. The state of health indirectly expresses the status of social groups, and it is likely that this division was also present in the ritual. To confirm this, the author analyzed social, cosmogonic, archaeological, and biological data, based on the methodology of structuralist anthropology, and integrates other types of information to more consistently explain these findings.
