Taking action in the face of the climate crisis does not mean diluting our ideas or our horizons; quite the contrary. The current task is to construct a new guiding principle—the ecological viability of our species and the other species with which we share the Earth—and to transform it into the rallying cry of a position that confronts its enemies: fossil fuel fascists, climate change deniers, and moral nihilists.
What are the effective forms of organization for building a policy that is up to the task? Only by founding a genuine climate party will we have any chance of continuing to move forward in this interregnum without losing our way.
