
This Eulogy because the publisher Pierre Hadot I dropped twenty available to readers in Spanish comes after an earlier praise of Socrates, the same author, published in 2006. Pierre Hadot died in 2010. Serve this edition also as a posthumous tribute to the illustrious philosopher.
Hadot was appointed head of the Department of History of Hellenistic and Roman thought at the Collège de France in 1983. Maintaining a habit of centuries, the courses at the College de France often begin with an inaugural lesson in which its director presents an overview of what the chair will be addressed, and in the same movement offers an invitation intellectual character, as if to say to the audience: Stay, this is going to be good!
