Aside from dysfunctional public policies, actions aimed at the integration of migrants oscillate between exclusion and obtaining legitimacy in host societies, between the illegalization of the migrant and citizenship with full rights. Since the review of the concept of integration, to the case studies of Venezuelan migrants to Peru, and social mediation, which in the Basque Country operates with concrete anti-immigration actions, passing through the perspective of internal migration and the examination, from psychology, of migratory mobility and its effects; the heterogeneous cases of Central American populations who, having modified their transit route, enter the Mexican labor market at risk and rarely; the neglected commitment to provide migrants with health services... from these perspectives, eight researchers from the Universidad Iberoamericana offer relevant ideas for a thorough analysis of the integration of migrants.
