A science that attends equally to the body, mind and spirit and where harmony with the environment and balance of affections are essential for a full and healthy life. As a holistic system, Ayurveda focuses on the factors that cause ailments and not only on their symptoms, adapting its treatments to the constitution of each person and requiring the commitment and active participation of the patient.
