The texts that make up this volume are configured around a common thread, the concept that gives title to the book, and the sections organize the material according to the character of its directors: veterans, mature, those who replicate foreign films in their national version, new section under the letterhead of "the organic franchise", filmmakers in their second work, documentary filmmakers, short filmmakers and women filmmakers. The sources of study are always direct, the films themselves, which are contrasted with the extensive cultural background of the author, who relates interdisciplinary areas such as sociology, anthropology, philosophy, literature and communication with those of cinematographic histpria. An analysis of a hundred works produced between 2014 and 2019 is carried out.
