One of the most relevant problems to discuss in the contemporary political arena is the coupling of subjectivity to the status quo imposed by neoliberal capitalism, which survives thanks to a maelstrom of frivolity, banality, and consumerism. In stark opposition to this position, in this work we seek to reclaim another maelstrom: the maelstrom of revolution. For this reason, we turn to Marxist thought in order to reflect on other possibilities of reality where the subject can develop freely.
