It is impossible to celebrate Nellie (1900-1986) without applauding Gloria (1911-1968), two artists who renewed Mexican culture in the last century. The polygrapher and dancer was the only woman who wrote a novel about the Revolution, and her sister Gloria, also a choreographer and scholar of indigenous dances and rhythms, became the country's first prima ballerina.
